Ron will be teaching an Introductory Photography course and an Advanced Photography course. See the descriptions below
Introductory Photography Taking Better Pictures
So you have a new camera, NOW WHAT!
by Ron Ranere 6 weeks starting March 18th Class is from 6:30pm to 8:30pm
You will learn how to use your camera in different shooting conditions and for different subjects. As a photographer you want to create great images not worry about how to use your camera. Once you go through this course you will look at a scene and be able to decide how you want it to look in your camera without fumbling through all the dials and buttons. After you click the shutter you need to get the images out of your camera so you can share it with your friends and family, or just keep them on your computer. You will also learn how to correct a picture that may be too dark or light and how to crop out that nasty stuff that you didn't see when looking through the viewfinder (post production).
Through weekly assigned themes and critiques, you will capture your personal interpretation in the form of images.

Advanced Photography Taking Better Pictures Part II
Step up to the next level in your photography!by Ron Ranere
6 weeks starting May 6th Class is from 6:30pm to 8:30pm
You've been taking pictures for a while using a fancy digital camera or your phone photographing people, landscape or any other subjects. When you look at the images you think: How do I make my pictures look like great images like what I see in magazines and on professional photographer's Instagram? In this course you will learn how to fine tune the camera controls and digital manipulation to make the image just the way you want, not just what you get by snapping the shutter. Once you master the camera settings and know the rules of composition you can make outstanding photos to create exhibit quality prints, slide shows or books.
Weekly assignments and critiques will help you to advance through this course.
